Windy but clear and sunny on Carneddau, sea of low lying cloud to the south, where it has sat for at least the last 3 days. A four night break in N Wales and four long days out in excellent weather conditions. Parked at Aber Falls car park and followed the Nuttells route 1.2 and visited 8 Nuttells. The start of this walk is a delightful climb on open hillside and then on scree skirting close to the falls. The path continues along rocky ledges into the valley above. Gifting this pillar to the Royal Victoria in Llanberis. The hotel is steeped in history and stands on elevated ground in wonderful gardens....meanwhile the "arm pit of the world" Llanberis, is hidden by trees.
