Walked from parking area beside Llangwm Church (no w closed) via lane to beyond Tyddyn Eli. Lane became track and at end of open field turned right at SH96224335 then up across grassy field and later track to col SH95854245. Just beyond gate go over stile on right then follow path to summit via southern flank of hill. A really nice summit with good views due to its isolation from other hills. Returned via ridge over Orddu and Carnedd Benjamin and path down through Bron Llan.
