Travelling to Barnstaple to have 3 serious days of geocaching to boost monthly statistics, but couldnt resist a trig pillar when so very close! Managed to park nearby and quickly spotted this trig as it is definitely on the road side of the hedge! Slightly damaged on one corner probably by a hedge trimmer previously. From the roadside no views apart from along the lane each way, but probably good views from beside the trig although I wasnt able to climb up the bank to determine this!

Nothing really to add other than to confirm that it is still there and in the condition previously described.

Stopped right by the trig hoping the road would be quiet today then did a quick dash to get the details from the plate. Had to clear brambles and nettles by hand from in front of the plate - ouch! Luckily nothing came along!

On the east side of the road, and on the inside of a gentle bend, with the flush bracket facing north. I'm logging this one as SD since there is a chunk missing from one of the corners.

I've no doubt it's here, but the lane was so narrow and the hedges so thick that I couldn't see it anywhere. Even when I did park and walk I still couln't find it. However, I have no doubt it's here somewhere......
