Nice walk out on track then up the ridge very warm Trig in vgc no plug super views from here all the big ranges to the west and the hills to the east. Walked over to a Landrover Freelander with a firestick aerial 100 metres away which was the Marilyn summit bizarre.

Fine spell of very early spring weather so I just had to take a day off and head up into the hills. Lovely area too to find some much needed peace and quiet.

What a lovely location. Parked in the very small nature reserve car park - room for one car, before walking up the track between the lakes and along the ridge to the trig point and then beyond a bit to the high point.

The target for a day's ride out from Clun YHA. Out over Anchor Hill, Abermule, Tregynon and some wonderful lanes over the hills. A beautiful sunny day. Rode track from road to SE past lakes, then on foot along rocky ridge. Content to spend a few minutes sat at summit enjoying the surrounds.

My first pillar for a while and a nice one to resume with.Pleasant walk in between two small Llyns ,today one of them was occupied by a pair of Cormorants ,only the second time i have seen them inland the other being in Shropshire.Pillar occupies a fine setting with great views.Good parking to the SE .

I suspect if the cloud was higher it might have got an 8. Short out and back of 3km total from the east after a longer walk on the Cader outliers. Plug still missing but otherwise ok.
