Parked behind Lynwilg farm just off the A9... and walked up via the big orange track... most of the way up ...then took the white stone track for the rest of hike..cracking day for it... Great views over toward Cairngorms!

Wow, what a walk, 10km we think round trip, took us about 4 hours. So glad to have this one in the bag, been putting it off due to the distance, but there is a great path all the way to the top and some excellent views over to the Cairngorms. Worth feeding the pigs at the bottom, you can buy food from the honesty box, they are so cute!

#469 P#268 P2016#68. Parked beside gate for the Burma road. Then followed the Burma road all the way to the first cairn. Then took a track to the left all the way to the trig. Saw loads of grouse, a pair of golden eagles and a mountain hare. Amazing views from trig towards snow capped Cairngorms.

Log #78. A misty drive over from my folks', parked at Lynwilg and walked up the Burma Road. A long, gradual ascent, then cut SW from the cairn marking the smaller path to the trig. Quite a lot of snow, but there are marker poles lining what would have been the path. The trig itself is sheltered by a stone wall, and is in great condition other than a little frost damage on the cap. Amazing views of the Cairngorms, and in all directions. [ExP-73/MiP-0/BM-5]

Disappointingly straightforward! Bus to Aviemore, walked to Lynwilg, up by Burma Road, then wide track all the way to the trig. Not the sort of tame trigbagging to which I have become accustomed! However, weather was great and long, long views in all directions so a very nice outing.

Pillar is sheltered partially by a rock wall. The plug is missing. Faded white paint. Howling gale on this day and views obscured by cloud. Would be a wonderful spot on a good day!

Visited this hill on Christmas Day. Had been on call until 08.45 so left home late. I had a photo with a mince pie on top of the trigpoint but think this was a casualty of a hard drive crash when i lost a couple of years of photos.
