Good off-road parking at NR 8676 7013. Followed a very faint and very poor track WSW up through clear fell forest to edge of old forest then almost due S, maybe a little W, to trig over slightly better ground. Extensive views to Loch Fyne and West Loch Tarbert. Pillar retains an original top cap, raised lettering; LHS sight hole open. Small memorial plaque on rear face close to the ground - Iain AS Kelly, died 25/7/99 aged 21.
