Location as shown by CJO. Despite being found 1 month go this block was still overgrown and difficult to spot. I cleared the overlying turf and young gorse to expose it better.

Just cannot calculate how many hundreds of times I have driven past this one, or even how many times I have even walked past, but wet day of trawling though the TP website produced its existence at long last! Coords slightly awry but a couple of minutes of wandering around I soon found this surface block. Having problems loading the photos.....

First trig of the day after leaving Dartmoor YHA and before visiting nearby Rippon Tor. Had OS sketch but not really needed; paced out 15m from Cattle Grid sign and there is was largely uncovered. Grass is encroaching from last visitor's clearance in mid-2012, but left as I found it.

Having just come down from Rippon Tor, this was an easy bonus trig. Using a previous finder’s photograph, it was easy to identify the location. It needed some re-excavating but it was quickly found.
