The only time we have been to a pillar in a reservoir and found the gate open. Pity there is no pillar here!

Walked up from Ormskirk town centre after heavy snowfall. No sign of trig in compound.

Accessed from ROW to South.Heavily defended by metal fenced compound however one of the metal slats is not secured at the bottom and being a slim chap I was able to access.Good views...

I'd been here before for a cache, so when in the area this morning knew exactly where to go to walk around its enclosure. Although it was dark, the trig was clearly visible against the skyline. Looked good from the nearest point I could get to as its inside a security fence and there's no way of getting any closer

I've not logged a trigpoint without getting close enough to check the FB before, but considering where this is (behind the security fencing) I don't think I'll be getting any better than this. Did a circuit of the enclosure, and these are the best photos I could get.
