From big layby (old quarry?) next to track to Gosland farm. Through gate then up steep slopes. Quick and easy up and down. Two corners missing and surface cracks everywhere. This pillar is crumbling away.

Parked by the bridge over the Kilbucho Burn taking the track then through the new plantation and over a fence to rough pasture heather up to the summit. Steep ascent but another cloudless sky meant that the views from the top were well worth the effort.

NE Winds are back but staying dry and midge free - quick easy bag from the road layby - a seriously easy Marilyn bag too. Culter on the horizon, Broughton Fells undulate opposite - nice ploughmans lunch at the café at Broughton afterwards.
