A very small handful of new Fellrangers have appeared and can be walked from Borrowdale Valley. Gentle grassy ridges overlooking this remote valley. Grayrigg Forest was the only one with a pillar, and the stone work was in excellent condition. On the next Fellranger I met the first woman to do the Bob Graham Round. (JD). She will be 80 in a month or two and ran up from home. An admirable lady who deserves the gifting of this pillar.
