Another trig in a fantastic location with incredible views over the surrounding area. Incredibly windy day and initially didn't risk the climb to the top. Rocks slippy with frost and so windy, thought I'd get blown off the top. Found an easier way up behind the trig so ventured to the top and just about managed to hold on in the wind! Walked up from Meldon Reservoir on a 15km stomp.

Approached from N after visiting Sourton Tors. Impressive rocky tor, looked quite daunting until closer. Cloud moved in though denying us any views from trig or summit. Summit tricky when wet, but no ice so ok. Pillar has numerous fractures, but still intact; cap missing, no plug; all sight holes open, weather probably disolved cement plugs. Views would be extensive, but not for us.
