Parked in the layby and gained access to the field (of grass) from the gate near the bridlepath at Eweleaze Farm 200m SE of the pillar. Fantastic views to the N. Sight hole to the north-east is open. Found 2p on the pillar which I left at my next trig point (Picket - TP5434)

The pillar is sited in an unoccupied field close to a prominent radio mast. The foundations are exposed by a couple of inches; it has an asphalt plug and has FB S5888. There is a large view to the north and to the east over lower, rolling countryside into a distant haze. From the layby to the north of the compound there is a good view to the west.
