Bagged after a short drive from Cordon Beacon. Parked in a "lay by" 10m past the track up to Bromlow Callow. Follow the track for a short distance then follow anything vaguely like a track uphill and parallel to the fence/wall on your R. At the gorsey part of the summit cross the fence/wall, skirt the gorse and follow uphill. the aerial will come into view before the pillar. I reckon it's a poorly made pillar from the start and the frost has had a good go at it. The cracks are all around the pillar. Slack construction! Revisited with The GreatScandini on a clear day. Superb

The pillar was in an unoccupied gorse fringed field; it has FB S4723; a metal cap with shallow lettering and has some severe cracking near the base and flush bracket. I parked to the west. The field was reached over the wall from the corner of the access land of Bromlow Callow. Large view of numerous hills and ridges of South Shropshire and the Welsh Borders including the Long Mountain, Breidden Hills, Stiperstones, The Long Mynd and Corndon Hill. The clump of trees on Bromlow Callow was a drover’s landmark and the adjacent access land also offers good views.
