I never check T:UK before I set off to a trig because I love the surprise. So, surprised to find this one in someone's very well looked after back garden. No one home but I don't think I would have the heart to knock on a Sunday afternoon anyway. Cheeky picture through the gate and a 'its not fair' attitude I want a trig in my back garden! LOL.

I thought as it is located in someone's back garden it would be dull and boring, however it was as fun as seeing heards of roaming wilderbeast, or even the hanging gardens of babylon! Today was much better, never in my life have I seen such high quality concrete and metal blended together to make one fine piece of art-forget mount rushmore, forget the mileau bridge, this is exquisite engineering at it's finest! I am considering asking the very kind and considering owner of the trig to either let me purchaseit or maybe start some kind of club for us exclusive members of society who've got nothing better to do with our time.

I'm retrologging this one, over a year since I visited it. It was my second attempt and walking about the pavement a gent comes out and asks if I'm looking for the trig, to which I replied yes; he could tell from the way I was walking around. He invited me to see the trig in his delightful back garden. It was covered up, to protect it, and it was behind his garden bench. It was his birthday and he couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful despite the rather sad circumstances, which I'll not go into. Wonderful...
