Been wanting to bag this one for a while, my walking mates Tracker Dog and Rubber Ball indulged me. Took advice of previous comment and asked for permission at campsite reception: it was readily given and given directions. There's a stone stile over the wall between two caravans, obstructed by a conifer, evidence of a former footpath. Trig is easily spotted, it's damaged as though someone has hacked the concrete to get to the metal. Views are unremarkable.

From Lognor along the Leek Rd to a PROW just after Heath House. Climbed across fields beside a small valley to emerge onto Millmoor Head. Continued S then W along the road to another PROW leading to The Slack. Farmer rather handily came out of his house just as I was passing so I asked for permission to cross the fields to the trig. He said they were no longer part of his land but he knew the owner and it wouldn't be a problem. I was a bit reticent at first as I didn't feel it was his permission to give. He appreciated my respect and eventually the desire to bag the trig got the better of me !! So, after a quick hop over one wall I meandered up the hill from field to field through open gates. Once trig came into view there was just one more low wall to cross (which landed me in snow up to my knees). As previously noted the top of the trig has sustained significant damage such that the spider is completely exposed and cap is missing. E and W sightholes open. Immediate vicinity uninspiring but distant views over towards Pilsbury warrant a 5/10.

I didn't see the stile from the campsite to the field so I entered the wood by the site entrance and looped around south and west following vague footpaths in the wood, then to the edge of the field to the north of the campsite. The wall topped with barbed wire was fairly easy to get over. The pillar top is badly damaged but the spider, less plug, is still in place.
