Parked on a beach access car park to the south and strolled up.. On a crumbling cliff edge next to a strange disused beacon/pylon. Used the pillar as a camera rest for some zoomed in photos. Blackpool Tower with a ship in the foreground; across Morecambe Bay to Heysham with Walney Lighthouse in the foreground; the banks of wind turbines out to sea and my favourite-Ingleborough appearing behind Piel Island Castle.Sat on the cliff edge soaking up the sunshine and then walked down to the sand and the sea. Access also available just below the old derelict farm where the map shows a track leading to the shore, at this piont the old walls have gone and it's now open field.
