Have missed this TP over the years as is not marked on my 1994 edition of OS 1:25000. A fine one hour walk from Harlech. Up the steep lane opposite the Castle, eventually left at the crossroads, and then signed footpath over to TP. Continue on footpath brings you halfway back down lane.

Close to a footpath, easily accessed from the gate on the road to the south east. The road down to Harlech is steep & very narrow! Goopd views along the coast

Re-visited the town and castle before tackling the very steep lane. Well marked ROW from East and easily reached. Much higher peak to NE with cairn.

Views out to sea and, if you stand on the wall, you can see the castle even if you're short. Odd they didn't put the trig on the nearby much higher hill.

Neat stone pillar next to dry stone wall. Metal plug [raised letters]. Presumably private [? Groes Lwyd, property immediately below], but easily accessed, as in sheep pasture with public footpath across it - simply handrail wall to trig. Very steep minor road out of Harlech. Snowdonia National Park.

Stunning views over some of the high peaks of Snowdonia,pillar is of the stone built variety.Field of very lively cows and calves that kept me observant! Access of the lane to the South. Made a change of scenery after visitng some the pillars near London the previous day!

Well camouflaged as RW says - Shane spotted it as I was trying to look over the next wall. Easy parking to south east at resesvoir. Plug with raised lettering.

A camoflaged trig blending in will with the wall. Half decent views and an easy walk from the pull off just N of the Crossroads to the SE of the trig. Don't recommend the climb up from Harlech if your car is poor in Low gear. GR and Photo to follow

Pillar in good condition built of local stone (although slight damage to top corner of contrate). Still sporting its (raised lettering) plug, which for north wales seems quite rare.

Another slate built trig with a weird effect reminding me of icing tricking out of a sponge cake, or was that because I was hungry? I would like to report good scenery but low lying cloud meant I could not see too far.
