Cycling through south Brum was quite interesting. Still some bags of rubbish at the side of the road. I kept thinking I knew where I was and then getting it wrong. So went to this trig first. Asked at the farmhouse and the farmer told me how to get to it. Trig is almost eaten by holly. FB is behind wire so pic isnt too good. Very friendly cow in field.

Went to farm as advised. Followed signs to the shop and frightened myself to death by ringing the bell. No answer, no eggs. Followed track round to west side of new buildings and nipped through gate to reach the pillar. Well disguised in the hedge.

Lots of thunder and lightening but no sign of public welcome so not having read the logs I moved the car around to the road on the opposite side and accessed over a couple of fences. With the flashes and bangs getting closer I didn't hang about for niceties such as grid refs or photos

In good condition with central plug intact. Situated in a hedge at the back of Gay Hill Farm - not accessible without permission so call into the Egg Shop! Some views towards the NW but otherwise disappointing.
