My 3rd Visit, different approach. Having bagged Shill Moor two hours earlier under intensely blue and cloudless skies we descended ENE towards Linhope crossing the Breamish and followed the Breamish W and NW before climbing Ritto Hill to the Linhope Burn and picking up the track N to the summit of Hedgehope. Within 2 hours the cloudless sky had turned into a thick clag and we lost all views at about 600m. What a shame, this was Storm's highest hill to date and her first hill over 700m. A small compensation for the lack of views was meeting a couple of walkers at the summit who took our picture for us. Retraced route back to Linhope Burn then a long slog back to Salters Road and to the car parked SE of Ewartly Shank.
