Rather out of the way along, often, single-track roads. The pillar was in the border of a wheat field and looked very different from the photo 8 yrs ago covered by ivy and the hedge much denser. The ivy was removed and generally tidied up.

Parked in layby,and over right hand gate opposite.followed field edgeto the right, then up from corner to trig. Cleared F P of ivy.

Saw we would be passing this trig on the way back from holiday so decided to go for it. First one built into a wall I have seen. Unable to scale the wall to note the flush bracket but condition of pillar still looks as per photos on the log. Lovely views from here.

Spotted this one as we drove road road ,looked like flat top haircut,on concrete base high in hedge.Climbed up trig then decided to drop into field on other side for picture,big mistake,difficult climb from that side up smooth concrete base to retrieve GPS.Stopped of at Sportsman Pub for a cracking carvery.An end to a great day in sunny Devon,

Parked in lay-by to North and walked up through fiels.Pillar on concrete plinth in hedgerow.Very slight damage to top of pillar.Weather foul.

We parked in a layby to the north west, opposite the gate giving access to the field (unmown hay). The trig is on the hedgeline with the FB facing east, although access was easier from the west side of the hedge (linseed field). Plug with indented lettering.
