Log #485. From south - I didn't want to risk taking the car up the track so I left it at the bottom, but it's easily drivable all the way to the 201m spot-height. Over the gate, and followed Pylon Boulevard all the way to the pillar. Still some remnants of the graffiti and broken glass about. [ExP-326/MiP-38/Rev-6/BM-39/IS-50/Other-26]

Dry approach from golf course (west) side. Decent viewpoint but a gloomy day. It seems Grant and Lee or maybe Grant Lee or Lee Grant (or perhaps Grant Lee Buffalo) have/has been here this year judging by the graffiti. On top the asphalt plug and much of the spider are covered in some clay or cement like substance (did not probe too deeply) with a little broken bottle glass.

FB facing south-ish, all sightholes open and the N/S tube is clear with the bolt visible! First time I've even seen that...cap is missing with an asphalt plug in place. Pillar in decent condition apart from a lump taken out the SW edge. Really, really good views on a glorious day. Easy approach from Mid Auchinleck Farm road past a wall that looks potentially nice for bouldering....
