Off the M6 on our way to Scotland, for a welcome break looking around the colourful Biddulph Grange Gardens for a few hours. Naturally, I looked in the locality for hopefully an easy first Staffordshire trig, and decided on this one. Hopped over the low wall and barbed wire fence to reach the pillar which has fine views from it. Cap in place, all sight-holes open. Then back to the clogged M6.

The PROW here is well signed through the farm and the farmer was very pleased when I thanked him for that. Headed S along Lask Edge Rd before jumping the wall when directly opposite the pillar. Just thick mist, rain and high wind today – no logging with the android app – too wet to get the phone or the camera out and a touch screen is unusable in these conditions.
