2nd trip up to Cumbria and at last able to get on to the hills, that said a murderous looking grey sky moving in so a bit of a speedy walk to Carrock. From Bowscale then the glorious road and slightly swampy route following Grainsgill Beck. The route down a little steep but beautiful - knees now recovered. Visit initiated by the fine photos on Hesket Newmarket ale bottles....and then they go and change the labels!
