Drove up the track and parked just beyond the gate. Easy walk up the track to the second mast. Pillar location gave great views of Orkney and the surrounding area. With Nozzer.

The second of my Trigs found during my daily excercise under lockdown. I walked from Thurso, the South West and found no easy way up apart from over some gates and a scramble across the hill. If you are doing this trig I recommend the easier route from the North East. Cracking scenary though

Log #29. Cracking wee walk up to the taller of the two masts. My boots were soaked after being caught in the rainstorm at Dunnet Head, so I quite easily did this trig in trainers. I was very intrigued by the sign on the gates of the lower mast: "Forensic traps in use" to deter thieves. [ExP-29/MiP-0/BM-0]
