At this time of the year (especially in view of a very wet Cornish summer) this pillar should be classed as inaccessible! Managed to clear enough of the brambles and stingers to check the FB, but not a hope of climbing to the top. Thus views across the road to the north only (although a gateway a little way along the road confirms the good views of the coast in the other direction).

The pillar is high up the bank on a huge concrete plinth. I didn’t climb up onto it so there’s no photo of the top. The view to the north is the only open view from the road.

Did not stand up on the plinth, because of the prickly undergrowth, but the trig looked in good condition and I could not see any damage. Other than that, not one of my top ten trigs.
