Convenient car park on dead end lane. From there follow path through woods south and uphill. After a few hundred metres ground levels out and there’s a clearing to the right with views towards London and a notice board indicating distant landmarks. A few metres further on to the south is the pillar. Appears to have received a comparatively recent coat of whitewash. Cleared away a few bits of burnt wood around it. No views from the pillar as trees have grown up around it.

Walking the North Downs Way and took a slight detour for this. Situated just inside wood and a few steps away gives a view of the London skyline. TP painted white with "Alfie loves Amelia 20/11/19" written!

Short walk from car park to the pillar. Very informative board near to trig ...explaining about trig points. Pillar in good condition with no views from the trig. A few metres away trees open up with good views to the north.

Found this while on a night time navigation training session with Kent Search and Rescue. Not much to see from the trig itself, well grown up trees surround it as per other logs. There is an opening in the wood to the North where I could see lots of twinkling lights, views to be had in the daylight.

Pleasant walk up into the wood from the nearby carpark, and trig found in a small clearing amongst the trees. Once again the bluebells were beautiful here.

Easy to find beside path on nice walk in woodland . Nearby is a sign at viewing clearing explaining what trig were used for . Interesting place .

Stopped of for a short break on the way to the Kent Beer Festival in Canterbury. I used the very convenient car park to the north east of the trigpoint and walked up the gentle slope through the woods to the pillar. The pillar is in good general condition with the exception of the missing centre plug. The woods are pleasant enough and there is a cleared view towards London close by.

Nice views, and the bluebells were still in flower. Unfortunately the area was a mess today, left overs from a barbeque - I had to tidy up a bit before taking my photo. It would help if a bin was provided near the picnic table.

Visited this one as YSM569 after attending the Kent Mega. Pillar and spider in good condition, although plug is missing. Another site since overgrown with trees, although there are some extensive views towards London a few metres away. nifta [#6]

Pleasant find on 5 mile circular walk from Coldrum Stones, although Holly Hill has a good car park too and it is just a short walk from there. Interesting informstion panel nearby and a bench, which came in handy for our lunch stop.

Short walk up woodland footpath from Holly Hill carpark. One viewpoint near the trig, with an information board explaining what you might be able to see. Not such a good view this time of year, with the tree foliage blocking it off. Pillar is in OK condition, plug missing.

The country must have been a very different place in 1935. The viewpoint information board at the top of Holly Hill does a sterling job in explaining to the layman the purpose of Trigpoints as well as identifying the landmarks from the viewpoint. Unfortunately I would suggest that the landmarks are probably only visible between October and March inclusive. The sign tells us that back in 1935 we would have seen two other Trigpoints from this site - well times have changed and nature has taken over there are no views from here. Incidentally I found the viewpoint board before the Trig and started hunting around the surrounding bushes and ferns. It was only when I emerged that I spotted the Trig about another 25 yards further along the path from the viewpoint. Sadly it is another Trig with the centre cap missing otherwise everything else is present and in good condition.
