Sadly amissing it's Flushbracket (hence the 'Damaged' call), all sights open with filled cap. Followed tractor tracks thro' luscious field for all but last 20 feet. Fly tippers have dropped lots of building material at the Easterly field entrance.

Hopkins Mount ..missing FB :-(

From minor road to E. Across a couple of fields and into a field of over-ripe legumes. Battled through this dying crop, along with copious mature thistles and nettles, in shorts! Pillar found structurally sound but with the FB torn out. Cap missing, asphalt plug; all sight holes open. 360deg views but limited by field boundary tree line to NE. Steep Holm prominent.

I got to this one really easily thanks to the satellite photographs. I parked at the Captainís Wife pub. This is near Swanbridge Farm TP0278. I then walked up a gated road toward ST1702367795 a convenient place to cross a small fence.

I took the same route as Rhayader Wanderer (Shane decided to stay in the car and read her book). An arduous route still, even at this time of year - the railway cutting still needed negotiating and the corn field was by now ploughed and very claggy underfoot. The field with the trig in is horsey pasture. There must be an easier way to it! The FB has been pulled out with the stub of the fixing lug still evident. S2306 would make sense as the FB no, as there are numbers in the same series nearby. Tarmac plug.

Ok where did I go wrong. Parked in a pull in near the only house to the northhacked through the hedge, edged down to the rail bed grasped by way up the other side stung myself through the nettles (still stinging 4 hours on) traversed a corn fied then reached the scrub. Almost as bad as my second trig on Monday. Great view of flat holm though (can I claim that as a visible but unreachable to salve my pain:-)
