Not the easiest Trig to find at this time of year due to the height and density of the crop of oil seed rape in this field. However on leaving the footpath alongside the main road and entering the field I took an anti-clockwise route along the perimeter of the field and came across this Trig in the edge of the undergrowth after about 10 minutes. The pillar , FB and spider are all in good condition ( although way back in 1951 someone appears to have etched their initials into the Spider's centre cap) as you will see from the attached photographs. This location is set in nice countryside with some nice views only hindered by the trees and hedgerows. Ordnance Survey website details computing year as 1949 and height 68.988 metres (226.339 feet).
