Found the rivet without any problems. Able to park almost on top of it.

Another of these rivet things, much prefer the concrete trigs we have up north. Logged as a YOSM as well, took a while to spot this. Picture to follow.

A surface block set into the corner of of a man-hole cover at the side of the road. Very easy access. Actually, it looks exactly the same as the rivet I'd just visited at Princes Esplanade. The surface blocks I've found previously have been a lot bigger.

May is not normally a good month for finding bolts and rivets as the undergrowth is so high but there was no problem with this one as it is in a lay by and on the corner of telephone cable man hole covers. I walked pretty close to this one in September 1998 when I walked this section of the coast. Today I was on my way to a business meeting in Felixstowe and the ironic thing was that we were bought back to Felixstowe Ferry for a pub lunch.
