First visit. To record FB number. The pillar was completed 3rd March 1948 costing £5.18s.6d. Later in 1948 this marker was computed for triangulation as fourth order station NT18/T55 in the Dunfermline secondary block. This is one of four fourth order stations that were added to this block, four years after the bulk of the NT18 trigs were built. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1965. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in February 2001. In 1985 this pillar stood behind the roadside boundary in the corner of an arable field.
