On way to see friends in Carlton, NE Nottingham, and bagged this one on the way, I've wanting to hit this one for a number of years. It's easily found though hard to imagine the area stripped of its vegetation as it was when the trig was operational: were the views S and E? Spider is missing and the white paint is peeling, but hey, the place had winter atmosphere to it. By the way, nearby Dorket Head trig has been given a fresh lick of white paint; round of thanks to whoever is looking after it, it looks great, especially at night.
