Fabulous weather, terrific views, not even the phenomenally obnoxious cyclist we encountered along Mastiles Lane could spoil this walk.

Tigged as an alternative to Meugher on today's outing (which includes New Pasture Edge trig - see log). It was actually just as misty up here with very poor visibility but given the walling it wasn't too difficult. Walked up the road from Theshfield that eventually turns into Malham Moor Road, here I turned right along the bridleway, upon reaching the first wall I turned left (noted the gate sign 'Beware Bull In Field' - such a comfort when visiblity is 50 - 100ft at best!). Followed the wall to eventually veer eastish and reach the narrow walled/fenced section that heads towards Kilnsey. At this point I scrambled over the wall and just sort of headed NE in what I thought was the right direction - couldn't see a thing (on a good day it's probably a piece of pi**). Got the trig - which is surrounded by a nice circle of stones - returned the way I came to follow the narrow track between wall/fence to eventually reach Mastiles Lane then Kilnsey and back to Grassington. Turned out to be a 19+ miler on a grotty day. Score is irrelevant today.
