Parked in Port Tennant and used the network of paths to get up the hill. I lived in Swansea and gower for six years but never came up this hil so it was a good feeling to visit it. Weather very murky. The ferris wheel offered the only view of bright lights in Swansea.

We decided to do this ex trig as the hill is a well known feature of Swansea and offers great views over the city. Apparently the trig was finally destroyed in 1985. Originally it's number was S2374, later being rebuilt as 11124.

It's gone from both map and ground, all that remains is a depression where the soil has been filled in after removal. No hints of definitely broken base either. BUT well worth a visit for the views of Swansea bay. Plenty of park points but just to the north with a 1km walk in is nice.
