Followed the blue path from the car park. Checked out Kinnoull Tower whilst up there. Visited this one years ago before I realised what Trigs actually were.

Parked in the Corsiehill car park and followed the blue trail up to the trig and then took the red trail to Kinnoull Tower and onward back to the car park to make a circular route out of it. Thought the trig appeared to be in good condition. The views were still pretty stunning despite it being rather a dreich morning. We were really impressed with the free parking, lack of litter and well waymarked trails :-)

Re-visit walk up the made up paths from the western road car parking car & caravan stuck blocking the slightly right entrance road to car park having failed to read he coming height restriction that would bar caravans. And they'd clearly decided to park up fur the previous night and shirt or the tricky reversing back, in the morning

OMG what a trek up here - jeez - fair taken the wind out of me - even Rocco was knackered which is saying something - wasn't as impressed as i was expecting to be but still good and a lot of bang for your buck with the tower as well

Walked up from Perth. Last of the Perth Three. Walk over the curved railway bridge is superb and up an incredibly scenic cliff walk. Hard going in places but well worth it. Wonderful views on a sunny day from an easy to find trig. The Kinnoull Tower folly is well worth a small detour after the trig.

Easy ascent on good paths from Jubilee carpark. Summit mobbed but only me bothering with the pillar, tarty topograph getting all the attention. Pillar painted white except for top. Original circular OS bit present. Pillar seems cracked whole way round hence allocated condition.

Lovely walk up to this on good paths on a very mild December day. As previously mentioned crack around the bottom of the trig but looks recently painted so not that easy to spot.

Pillar with crack round the base at FB height otherwise good. Recent coat of white paint. FB faces west-ish with all sightholes closed. Cap present with sunken lettering. Superb views west and north. The nearby cliff walk is good yielding excellent views south, east and west.

Another fine and sunny day. We were turned back on our way to the Tower by two policemen heading to investigate an incident. We came up to the hill and trig first and by the time we got to the Tower they had gone. Lovely place here and beech trees glorious today.

P133. Walked up the tracks to the stone table. Found the rivet and then enjoyed the spectacular views. Then hoped over to the trig for more views. A lovely walk on a day with glorious weather. I seemed to take a slightly different route down.

A not too difficult walk up through the wood, eventually leading to an open view of the Tay valley. The pillar is cracked at the bottom of the flush bracket and all the way around above the sight holes. After a diversion via Kinnoull Tower, it seemed a much longer walk down, probably because we went the wrong way.

Great navigating by Brisey got us to the car park, though calling it a car park is a bit of an exaggeration, more like a wide gated entrance. A steepish walk up through the woods brought us out at the top and gave us great views and a trig point as a reward.

Log #46. I came up here a couple of times when I lived in Perth, but it always seemed to be at night after a few beers. The trig is in good condition, other than a crack running around the entire lower perimeter of the pillar. Thankfully it has avoided the vandalism that covers the stone table 100m to the south. The views were great, although the cloud cover prevented clearly seeing the furthest mountains to the NW. The view south from the cliff edge is fantastic, if you ignore the sewage plant. To the ESE is Kinnoull Tower, which is worth a quick visit. As with my other trips up here, it would take some sort of monetary incentive to get me to peer over the cliff edge. [ExP-46/MiP-0/BM-0]

The final trig-point of my excursion north to the Perth Mega Geocaching Event. It took me a little while to get here as my stupid sat-nav was insisting that I use a private road up alongside the Deuchny Burn and I had to back-track a bit. I finally pulled off the road, north of the hill and took the well made path to the summit. Not a difficult climb, just a gentle uphill drag compared with some I tackled earlier in the week. I was surprised to find myself alone at the top as I expected it to be crowded with geocachers. Splendid! The pillar is in good condition and complete with all it’s metalwork. There is some light cracking in the surface cement but hardly enough to mark it as ‘slightly damaged’. There’s an adjacent seating area and topograph viewpoint. The views north and east are splendid but trees obscure the view in other directions. I spotted numerous people crashing around in the undergrowth as I made my way back down the hill. Wonder what they were doing…

I have looked up towards this hill and the tower many times on my way to and from Dundee and always promised myself that the next time I would take the time to walk up,it's taken a few years but it was worth the wait, A lovely walk and very good views.

Climbed hill from near Branklyn Gardens. Small open area at top. I think view was northwards (suspect you can see a lot more in winter) but forgot to check at time. A stone built direction finder and something similar also adjacent (sudden heavy shower curtailed visit). Pillar has a horizontal crack and is painted white. Retains plug (large deep indented lettering).

Lovely views over Perth and up the Carse of Gowrie towards Dundee from the top of the hill. Too bad there is so much traffic noise from the A90 below

Walked from the Perth Bus Station. The weather was excellent. After visiting here I continued around the hill and over towards Scone before heading back to Perth. A nice walk of about 9.5 miles

Parked in Jubilee Car Park, plenty well made walks to take you to the top of the hill and the Trig Point pillar. Crack running around base, metal works still in good condition.

Popular summit, lots of people around. Apart from the horizontal cracks near the bottom, this pillar has been refaced so there are no surface cracks near the top. Spider retains indented font OS plug. FB faces 279°, west. All four sighting holes cemented over. A toposcope advertises big views, but the surrounding tree plantation has left only line of sight to Mailer Hill, Ben Cleugh and Craig Rossie. Revisited & photographed 24/09/2005, GRP.

Approached from the north. First visit. To record FB number. The pillar was completed 20th March 1950 costing £15.2s.6d. In 1951 this marker was computed for triangulation as tertiary station NO02/T44 in the Perth secondary block. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1953. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in October 1987. Spectacular views over the Tay. No photos taken.
