Eyed this sublime curve of a hill from a rainstormed Lynton earlier. Quite a trig extravaganza with a lot more doable nearby. Trig 1 of 3 on this gorgeous walk around Foreland Point watching the clouds heave off the South Wales hills and the islands and ships of the Bristol Channel, a new favourite place.

Detoured from an excellent geocaching trail slightly uphill to this trig point as it was "too close" to ignore despite my tired legs. Trig on other side of wire fence and silage bags, but nearby gate and muddy access easily negotiated to trig. Good farming views all around.

Parked in NT carpark just to east of trig. Walked up to find freshly ploughed field. Very fresh. In fact, the farmer had just ploughed around the trig. I waved and pointed to the trig and he seemed quite happy for me to go bag it. 2 mins later and more ploughed field to hop across back to edge of field.
