Seems we might be among the few to have approached this from the longer but I think more interesting route from the NW, parking on the side of the B6456. Great 360 panorama, and terrific views all the way back admiring the two Dirrington Laws (Bosom buddies?) A very good hill considering it is < 300m

Bagged as YSM350 Kyles Hill. Parked near gate at roadside, climbed gate and headed up large quarry track to wood piles, then headed along the burnt heather break all the way to the trigpoint, relatively easy one

Parked at the entrance to a wind turbine field (N55 44.127 W002 25.962/NT 72927 49197), (although there was a larger layby a bit further on) went through a sliding gate and followed a quad bike track all the way up to the trig. This avoided going through the gate with the danger sign on it and avoiding the quarry. Lots of grouse butts near the trig but its off season just now. Nice views from the trig.

Why go to all the bother putting up Danger Keep Out signs when there is a right to roam. Interesting rubbish in the dump. Fantastic 360 views as the light was fading.

Ignored the Danger Keep Out signs and was a bit perturbed to see a gamekeeper sat on a quad bike at the top of the hill. Said our hellos and asked if it was ok to go on up to the trig, "not a problem" he said so off I went. I think the sign is to keep vehicles out and as the track passes through an old quarry it may be to do with that as well. A bit wet and murky today but this will be a fine viewpoint on a fine day especially if the heather is out.

Parked at the end of the track to the south east and (ignoring the danger keep out sign) followed the track up through the quarry and onto the grouse moor. Couldn't work out what the danger on the sign was referencing unless it was just for the shooting season.
