Made my way up from the end of the forestry track to the west. The plantation is completely felled to the north of the track giving good views down the Clyde Valley and lots of noise from the M74. Pillar unchanged. At the summit thought about counting the visible turbines but thought better of it.

Logged as YSM104 Lady Cairn. From gate took steep track up, very mossy and slippy in places onto wind farm tracks up to mast. Then had to climb wall and barbed wire and as usual made a real meal of it, back via the same route. Totally and utterly shattered now, probably won't be able to walk tomorrow ;-) Last YOSM of the trip and probably the last found it before the logging changes, thanks so much outforthehunt for some great trips away bagging these. I'll still bag them as write note so please please please don't archive it as it gives us all a really good hunt.

Parked at the gate just north of the wee roundabout and followed the forestry track all the way to the masts. Trig was just round the back, over a stone wall. View of sooo many turbines!

Fourth YSM of the day. Approached through the forest, which is currently being harvested, from the northern most gate and then a sharp turn right up the hill. Thought I might have taken the wrong track but after emerging from the trees it was a half mile up left to the trig. Lots of windmills to be seen from here, I couldn't be bothered to count but the reasoning round here seems to be if there's a hill "lets build windmills on it". The view from the top must have been fine once upon a time, no longer I'm afraid.

A plague of windmills

Spider has now been removed by persons unknown. Very clean removal job. FB faces southeast-ish with only the north-west-ish sighthole open. Superb 360 degree views from the top. Accessed from the farm gate at NS957181. Follow the mapped track for about 200m, then take a right up the wind turbine road. Follow the metalled roads to the top. Steep!

Spider was still secure and OS cap with deep indented lettering was present. FB faces SE. Back sighting hole open, others plugged. Snow coverage on day of visit, and still snowing.
