Parked in gateway just beyond trigpoint. Pillar high on Devon hedge bank, hedge needing to be climbed to view flush bracket fully. Managed it near give way sign where is was a bit lower and provided more purchase. Very nettly though, ouch.

Parked in lane at double gates just after trig point. The trig stands on a high bank but it is possible to get onto the bank with a small ladder. The lane is very busy and the gateway is the only passing place.( only joking about the ladder)

Fifth of the day and the easiest. Standing up proud as punch with parking right next to it - what's not to like? Even the views are half-decent. Celebrated with a sausage roll at nearby Trethorne Leisure Site.

Was driving with a mission to hopefully complete a multistage puzzle geocache this morning and one of my passengers (neither of them bag trig points but are tolerant of me wanting to do so within reason!) just happened to look out of the car window down the lane - and spotted the trig point high up the bank! Took nearly a mile further on before I could turn round and park, then clambered up the bank to photo the flush bracket! Trig point looked in good condition and commanded a good view as far as I could see as a little misty. Soon back of the car to discover that we weren't too far from another puzzle cache solved by one of my passengers! Detoured to that cache as well as a traditional, and then back on original route!

Think the loss of a top corner warrants a slightly damaged condition. Other than that nothing more to add other than to confirm that it is still there.

Easy bag, high on a field boundary bank at roadside just off the A30. Large chunk of concrete missing from one top corner - hedge cutter no doubt. Cap missing, no plug; LHD side sight hole open. Extensive views, slightly limited W to Bodmin Moor due to hedgerows/trees.

Aptly named! Saw this on the way down to Cornwall earlier in the week, decided to log on the way back and in the interim the hedge cutter had been along, fortunate... v easy access using the road sign as a hand rail up on to the hedge. All round views, including the eastern tors on Bodmin Moor. Centre open, s/holes all buried, chunk out of SE corner (altercation with said hedge trimmer I think), otherwise good condition.

Not sure if "Good" is best description of quality for this - but its so covered in ivy its hard to tell - no obvious damage though. Little scramble up to the embankment which easily supported even a big chap like me and only way to get proper "face on" picture. I liked this trig - plucky little thing perched high and proud!

Good views. Drove past here so stopped and bagged it. Bank was steep but I was able to scale it and fall back down without injury after checking the details.

The pillar is on top of the bank and is completely overgrown. As it is too high up for me to reach, I couldn't make anything out at all.

Dropped by on a caching day out - definitely the best time of year to visit as all th brambles etc had been cut back. Hopped up onto the hedge by the road sign and walked along to the trig. Views to the north aren't bad

Visted while on honeymoon with Claire (Mrs Saunders!). On top of the hedge. Really easy to get to at the side of the road. This was a suprise Trig which was passed on our way back home from the some caverns in Bodmin.

Return visit to complete unfinished business. Last year couln't record the FB number due to nettles. This year the nettles were too small to be a problem, but the bank is very steep to climb in front of the pillar. Tried approaching from the field side, but this didn't work. In the end held camera in front of the FB and took several shots, hoping for the best. And I got the number with the final shot.

Trig set on high bank with fencing surrounding it. I agree with Alan Grove as it is difficult to reach due to nettles.Found it on way home after lovely Easter holiday weekend with my dear wife.

What do you mean the hedge bank is too nettly! I found this on the first day on my north cornish walking holiday and pulled over specially to clamber up in my eagerness. I have photos to upload later. I had the nettle stings to prove it for the next three days.

Clearly visible from the lane that runs alongside the pillar. Unfortunately the bank on which it stands is sheer and covered on nettles. Therefore I did not fancy climbing up to record the FB number.
