Circular walk out of Burnsall. Really pleasant walk up from the river bridge and plenty of lapwings to keep us company in the fields up to the trig pillar. Murky day so we opted for this trig as opposed to Thorpe Fell which seemed to be a good choice as the high ground to the SW was cloud covered. All metal work intact. Good view across to Grimwith Res. Return walk via Dibbles Br and Appletreewick Pasture with curlews to keep us company this time.
