Parked on main road by entrance to PROW. Other side of the style was a puddle almost as big as my wellies, glad I had a walking stick! Be aware, almost knee high water!! Then hopped one fence and another into the third field. Sneaky quick bag.. 1st of six today.

Parked on Church Lane near Fp. Lovely trekking through the muddy fields. Off the fp, over two fences, through a field of sheep!

Parked on roadside at the start of the PROW and followed it until in line with the trig field. Over 2 small fences to Pillar which was in good condition with all its metal work

Parked on Long Lane. Took the public right of way (PRoW) from there up to SK 28335 38102. From the PRoW, headed north west walking the hedge line up to the pillar, which involved climbing over a couple of fences.

3rd of 3 on a 28km run from the city centre. Quick hop over a couple of fences from the PROW. Nice seeing all the lambs!

Not played this game for a while as I've gone back to full-time at work and then been preoccupied with running up Win Hill come the weekends !! Not being one to follow the crowd I decided to take a slightly different route to this one. So, having parked on Church Ln I then headed SE along the A52 to Moor Ln and Long Ln.Tried to enter the field where the PROW crosses Long Ln but it was under 3'' of water so used the farm gate about 10m East of the PROW. Deviated from the PROW at the first hedge which provided useful cover as I clambered a couple of fences to reach the trig. Pillar in good condition with origin metal cap and two open sight-holes. FB faces due East. Unremarkable, gently undulating land typical of South Derbyshire. Views to South limited by hedge line. Returned to PROW then continued N, taking 2nd PROW West towards Church Ln. Was surrounded by sheep and their lambs along the way.

Quite a long way from the footpath, but I only had to clamber over a couple of fences. No livestock here today, looks like sheep are the usual occupants. There were a couple of noisy geese, though. Reasonable views.

Walked across form the church at Kirk Langley using PROW. Pleasant walk through the fields, nipped over fence and along the field boundary approaching trig from SE. Reasonable views to the East. All metal work intact.

parked at kirk langley church and walked along the prow till the pillar came into view,i was too tired to trespass so i did the decent thing and asked at the farm,no problems at all,took a leisurely stress free stroll to the trig,returned to the footpath via a couple of easy gates,plenty of lambs out today and a few calves.nice pond next to the trig,views okay,nice and peaceful up here.

Parked outside the church after a walk from Brailsford. Had some difficulty – sheep and lambs in the trigpoint field and I think a lama – all making a terrible noise as I approached – exited to the west across the top of the field – conscious of disturbing the lambs and damaging fences on private land.

Impossible to park on Long Lane so approached from Green Foot Farm footpath. Crossed a couple of fences (once out of sight) to approach trig whilst avoiding both new lambs & pregnant ewes.

Parked on Long Lane next to farm entrance and walked down the road to footpath .Down footpath till correct field then followed fence to field with trigpoint in it .I have done these trigpoints in the past so i am familiar with there locality as i live locally .did Hoon Mount as well today.We have only had a computer for two months so i am struggling with this side of trigpointing .How does one put photos on from mobile .HELP.PJR w

Asked at farm. She let me approach via her land, but could not get in same field as pillar, due to difficult fence. Got photo from about 10m away. Good view to North.

Approched from the south. Parking was more of a problem - we ended up in a gate entrance just to the west of The Pastures. Plug with indented lettering.

Didn't asked at farm and walked across a couple of field and there it was in the corner. Didn;t have GPS or 1:25000 map so i was a bit in the dark about it but i got it any way.

I successfully asked for permission at The Pastures Farm to visit this trig. An apt name as the trig sits on pasture land. Views are nothing special. Trig in good condition with brass plug present. The only threat that I could see was that of it being undermined by the many moles in the field. Trig sits about ten meters north of a field boundary and near a pond.
