Low cloud so give it a 5. Marked parking place on A706 directly opposite trig. Through gate, past turbines on road and moderate short ascent through sphagnum moss tussocks. Easy less than 10 mins stroll with car in sight the whole time. No smell today but lots of plastic bag type debris.

Good views but with the wind from the SW overwhelmed by that landfill odor (remembered from my time working on them many years ago). Shame about the smell and the plastic bags not caught by the perimeter fence because the views are generally good. Perhaps worth a 6 once the landfill is capped.

Start of the path was still pretty canal-like....

Secondary station in Block NT18, Dunfermline. Pillar completed 24th August 1939 with FB S2682. Replacement flush bracket was fitted 31/07/1963. This appears to be the original pillar rather than a rebuild the newer concrete around the FB gives that away. Flush bracket S2682 was either stolen or replaced for other reasons. 360 panorama to many known surrounding hills. Bit of a whiff for the adjacent landfill. Photographed 26/08/2007, GRP.
