Manor Farm. Trig is visible from the road but access from there awkward and exposed. Easier to walk round and go in through the farm's main entrance - no-one around this Friday afternoon. Pillar retains a vestige of a once white coat of paint; original cap missing, mortar plug; RHD side sight hole open. No views.

Accessed via adjacent house and access in general is getting more difficult as the adjacent farm and barns are being converted to housing - farm appears to be no longer an active farm.

You will not be able to reach this from Little Manor. It is the other side of their hedge/fence. If outside circle anti clockwise round roads and use new concrete access road to barns, and tucked in trees to left and ivy covered. Access by permission of the pleasant farmer, who was there.

In the garden of a house opposite the end of Manor Close. The lady of the house gave me permission to cross her lawn and through the hedgerow to get the pillar, which is just about visible from the road. Asphalt plug replacement. Traces of paint. N sighthole open, others closed. the pillar is rapidly becoming ivy-clad! No views at all.

Met the very nice lady at Manor Farm, who showed me where the trig was located.Strangely as I left 2 surveyors from a local civil engineering firm were walking around with a 1/500 plan. They said they were looking for a BM on a mast.I showed them that there was a Trig Point with an FB behind the hedge.I mentioned the web site and said that they always use BM's as they are more accurate than GPS.
