Same as Slateloose. Right next to where the farmer has laid rather a lot of manure. Parked opposite Pen Y Lan entrance and walked following hidden ROW path next to Bunker path. FB in place and trig is in good condition. Surrounded in thorns today so took a blind photo of top, will add later.

Walked up from road on footpath alongside track to Hidden Bunker. TrIg is on north side of fence don't go over stile into next field.

Parked in layby by junction.took footpath that runs next to track that goes to decoy bunker .turn right in corner of field and trig can be seen in hedge line.

Parked at the road junction before setting off up the wrong track initially. Backtracked and then headed for the decoy bunker and short walk from the track up to the trig point in the field boundary.

Short walk up to the trig but then carried on along the lane until we came to a restored decoy bunker - that's now a holiday home. Worth a look. The trees in the background at the trig have an interesting history.

Short walk from junction minor roads to NE. Trig located on field boundary between maize crop and pasture. Cleared lot of bramble, thorn and nettles. Had to leave a large thorn branch growing against the pillar as no saw with us. Smooth finish; cap missing, asphalt plug; rear sight hole only open; BSM style FB. Good views E across Usk Valley to distant ridge. Craigwith tump summit approx 140m SW.

the hedge had been recently trimmed by the modern method of smashing off the growing tips and branches but here the farmer had taken some care compared to other TPs i've seen and there was no mark on the column

Easy parking to north east. Down muddy bridle track and then up side of crop field to trig. Pillar to east of fence with FB facing east. Plug with indented lettering.

White pillar, at Pen-y-Lan near Llangybi, on raised field divide separating wheat fields. Barbed wire fence and suggestion of a hedge along the divide.
