Good views along the top of the ridge and a nice bench nearby. At this, most recent (but not first) visit the Waterboard have created more access points in (I pressume) readiness for the CROW Act due in this area in late 2005. There's a good route to the trig from just north of the eastern end of Blackstone Edge Resovoir (where the OS Map says Turvin Road), there's also a waymarked route to connect with the Old Packhorse Road at New Gate End Bridge. And again 07/04/2007. No cars, on foot.

Came across this by accident when out geocaching. Travelling light so didn't have camera with me :o( Need to look at how one judges the condition. It was there and looked OK to me but others may disagree!

Yes it's there on Manshead End, just off the Water Boards permitted path. Bench nearby on edge of Manshead End has good views and nice place for a rest after pull up from Baitings Reservoir
