Steady walk up cycle path from Tobermory. Heard and saw cuckoo on the way up. Sea mist added to the ambiance. Returned to Tobermory to sample Classic Cullen Skink in the cafe there, then tried three gins in the distillery before investing in a bottle. Pleased to remain aboard the zodiac back to the good ship MS Maud anchored in the harbour.

I drove up the rough-ish track, parked by the westernmost building and walked the 40m to the pillar. At the top the complete lack of protection from the gale force winds and heavy rain made it quite an experience! FB faces SE; NE sighthole plugged, all others open; top has plug/cap missing. Absolutely no views whatsoever this afternoon thanks to the abysmal weather!
