We was staying in Gatwick so decided that we would travel down the A23. Parked up opposite and had a quick look and brushed away the leaves to reveal the block. Then spotted an another bolt further along the kerb guess this is the other survey point Next to a busy road and fence so no views and defiantly no Elvis (probably stacking shelves in the local Sainsbury's)

When I told my Elvis-mad friend I'd visited Gracelands, he was well impressed. I didn't burst his bubble! 1" bolt on concrete block W side of road, despite GR indicating E side - unusual for it for be out by several metres. Exposed and left it that way.

An easy ‘drive-by’ with a convenient parking place just yards away. This Bolt is uncovered and visible; not a lot of searching required. Not much more to say about it really. It’s in a quiet cul-de-sac alongside a busy dual carriageway (from which there is no access to this Bolt).

Having read the previous log, and not having a printout of the photo, i wasn't holding much hope. So I wonder round the curb for a few minutes looking for any sign and see nothing. So I get the GPS until it its says that the point is 2 meters into the main dual carrige way, and put it down on the curb to take a phote. I then notice a bolt in between the kurp stones - its the bolt! I take a step back to take the picture and there is a blue arrow sprayed on the road ;-) How did I miss that!

Been to the site on three separate occasions and have failed to find any trace of the bolt. The OS GPS site does not have a location diagram However, their photograph was enough to get me to within a couple of feet. There is a kerb with all sorts of material on it and I suspect that the bolt is mixed in with all this. Anyone got a metal detector?
