From Bruce's Stone CP. Pillar sits on exposed foundations to S side of a large shelter cairn. Sporting an old and dirty coat of white paint, it is showing signs of severe weathering: top edges badly chipped; 2 spider arms with exposed ends; substantial fracturing to the left, right and front faces at FB level; various chunks of concrete and screed gouged from all faces. It's one redeeming feature is an inscribed s/steel top cap to commemorate a 50th ascent of the mountain. Cloud down, no views today.

The cloud did go again, allowing some photograph of the views, but didn't manage to see Snowdon in Britain's longest point to point line of sight between two land features. Descended via the more touristy route to the SW. It was dark on return to the car park. Pillar somewhat cracked, but still stable enough for the job.
