Followed Painterman's steps from Capplestone Gate, walking up the ROW past Mossdale before cutting across over some very rough moorland and up to the conical top of Meugher, which itself is grassy. Superb 360 degree views on a reasonably clear day from possibly the remotest Trig in Yorkshire. Trig in good condition but with plug missing and still sporting a reasonable amount of white paint.
