Revisit. Approached from southeast. Parked in layby, southwest side of public road at SD933526. Called at Butter Haw, nobody home. Followed mapped RoW to nearest point then beeline via pedestrian gates to top. Only realised once up hill that farm to south is Mickleber. However, no bull present on date of visit. Grazing top. Pillar in good condition. Spider contains original OS centre cap with shallow engraved letters. Flush bracket faces southwest, ~231. Vented through SW and SE sight holes. Full 360 open outlook from top.

A tricky one to get to as the Trig is surrounded by land owned/rented by the livery situated on the ROW below the north side of the Trig, which lies on top of one of the many Drumlins which are a a feature of this area. Therefore I went up to the Trig from the south side, walking up the road from Gargrave station and then cutting across and along the field hedges. Trig in good condition with original plug. Good views from Drumlin country.

Relatively easy access and quite visible.I intended to use the footpath from the road at Butter Haw and detour to the trig point. Unfortunately the area is now the home to a livery stable and several paddock fences (electric in places) have been installed. However ducking under and through got me up to the trig. Pleasant views.
