Easy walk to the trig but access is difficult because it is sandwiched between two lots of barbed wire. Couldn't get round the trig to see the F.B.

Parked on French Lane. Took the public right of way up to the pillar. Had to climb over two barbed wire fences to access the pillar, which I needed to do with care as there is an electric fence close by. 1 of 15 on my 15 trig Nantwich/Whitchurch day

Lots of gun fire from the shooting school at Mickley Hall farm. Walked from lane on footpath to find trig point on left between two barb wire fences but easy to access and take photos.

1 of 3 Visited the Hack Green 'Secret' Cold War bunker before going on to bag some trigs, a strange place, never knew so much money was spent on Civil Defence for nothing. Interesting place, however. Trig 15 minute walk from the bunker, flat, Cheshire plain with the Shropshire Union canal snaking its way N/S. Trig easily found in big gap in hedge line between two strips of barbed wire, views mainly to the east. On to no. 2, Stoke Hall trig.

Close proximity to good footpath and even though clearly visible from the house nearby, no problem stepping over the twin barbed wire fences for a shot of the FB.

Road side parking just north of bend in lane. Public footpath runs south to pass trig point which is located between two barbwire fences. Flush bracket unfortunately faces eastwards and overlooks Mickley Hall and would be difficult to photograph unless you trespass.
